Drugs and alcohol use worsens the course of psychiatric disorders. As a result of increased drugs and alcohol use / misuse, PPSC role would be to provide psychoeducation on the relationship between drug/alcohol, mental health, and physical health. PPSC will implement programs and strategies to:

• Create a safe and supportive living environment.
• Connect clients with needed community resources.
• Identify high risk situations and replace with healthy activities.
• Explore harm reduction and relapse prevention options.
• Awakening spirituality as needed.
